A typical day might include yoga and other movement practices, meditation, sound healing, massage/self-care time, hiking or nature walks, a workshop or two, wonderful healthy meals, a mindful eating experience, and group bonding time at a campfire.

Inspirational Yoga for Mental Health & Healing

In today’s world, more people than ever are facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, sleep issues, addiction, eating disorders, and more. The good news is that powerful tools exist to help us meet these struggles with compassion, strength, and hope.

For thousands of years, yoga has been a pathway to mental and emotional well-being—and modern science now confirms what ancient wisdom has long known. Yoga supports relief from stress, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, trauma, PTSD, addiction, and even disordered eating, offering a holistic approach to healing body, mind, and spirit.

This class shares somatic practices that supported Dawn’s own healing journey through childhood trauma, an eating disorder, and two breast cancer journeys. These tools helped her navigate life’s stressors with greater ease and reconnect with her innate wholeness—mind, heart, body, and spirit. Lisa will also be sharing practices that have supported her healing as well.

Escape to the high desert beauty of Oracle, Arizona for a soul-soothing retreat at the historic El Rancho Robles. From February 26 to March 1, 2026, we invite women of all ages and ability levels to step into a sacred space of rest, renewal, and reconnection.

This unique retreat blends restorative yoga, yoga therapy, qigong, zen yoga, embodiment practices, meditation, sound healing, creative expression, and play—all designed to nurture your nervous system, nourish your heart, and restore your whole being.

Surrounded by nature and supported by a warm, welcoming community, you’ll explore what it means to replenish, embody your truth, and show up for life with clarity and compassion. This is a chance to slow down, soften, and fill your cup—because we cannot serve others from an empty one.

Whether you’re new to these practices or seasoned in your journey, you’ll be held in a space that honors wherever you are. Come ready to play, create, rest deeply, and remember the joy of simply being.

An Evening to Exhale: Women's Mini-Retreat

This evening mini-retreat is a gentle invitation to slow down, soften the nervous system, and come back home to yourself—in the supportive presence of other women. Designed to reduce stress and build resilience, each gathering offers space to decompress, restore, and reconnect after the demands of daily life.

The practices will be lovingly guided by The Retreat Ladies:

 

Together, they bring years of experience in nervous system regulation, mindful movement, healing arts, and sound to create a deeply supportive and nurturing experience.

Through thoughtfully curated practices, you’ll be guided into deeper ease and embodied calm:

  • Yoga to release physical tension, improve circulation, and cultivate grounded strength and stability
  • Qigong to gently move energy, support emotional balance, and restore vitality through fluid, mindful movement
  • Meditation to calm the mind, regulate the stress response, and build inner resilience
  • Healing Touch to support the body’s natural healing processes and invite deep relaxation and restoration
  • Sound Healing to soothe the nervous system, quiet mental chatter, and encourage profound rest through vibration and resonance

“Bella Sorella" Women’s Retreat in Tuscany

“Bella Sorella” translates to “Beautiful Sister”. It’s a term of endearment often used to refer to a dear female sibling or close female friend. To us, it describes the beautiful sisterhood created by the amazing women who attend our retreats.

Join The Retreat Ladies and experience a week of friendship and sisterhood in beautiful Lucca, located in the Tuscany region of Italy. Immerse yourself in a restorative and healing environment, designed to renew and restore you.

Our unique retreat home for the week will be the stunning Villa Tramonte – which boasts comfortable lodging in fully restored 18th century estate, comfortable accommodations, beautiful grounds, an outdoor heated pool, gorgeous views, and delicious vegetarian meals of farm-to-table vegetarian Tuscan cuisine — complete with local olive oil and wine.

6:30-7:30 am » Tea, coffee, fresh fruit for our early risers
7:30am-8:45 am » Morning Practice (i.e. yoga, Qigong, meditation)

Who is this retreat for?
Women who want to improve their wellness by meditating, eating fresh Italian food and practicing yoga and other healing modalities. No prior yoga experience necessary—just a desire to embrace a journey of well-being. Learn self-care tools that you can use long after your retreat experience is over!

What’s Included
* 7 nights accommodation (including linen and towels)
* 3 vegetarian meals each day + wine at dinner (except for one lunch out and one dinner out)
* All retreat content and planned activities (see below)
* Access to the pool and yoga facilities
* Transfers to and from Lucca train or bus station to the retreat centre at the start and finish of the retreat. There will be one scheduled pick up and drop off only. Any transfers outside of this are not included
* Use of the WIFI
* Laundry facilities for use by guests

I enjoyed the one-day “Intention-Setting Mini Retreat” with Dawn and Sara. As a newcomer, I felt at ease-positive attitudes and vibes from this group of ladies. The day was creating a “Vision” instead of a Resolution. The tools provided started with restorative yoga, questions/journaling, meditation, mindful eating, vision board and Qi Gong.  We shared feelings and thoughts allowing us to set a purpose and make our vision come to fruition.
