The journey of becoming a yoga teacher begins with your own healing, transformation, and growth. It begins with diving deeper – in your knowledge of yoga philosophy and practice, in your experience of yoga as a wholistic practice, and deeper in your spiritual connection.
Now is the time to begin that journey.
Completing a program like this is a big step in your life. Know that you are enough, and you can do this. And if you’ve been called to teach, trust that you will receive everything you need to do it. At Inspiritus Yoga, we will give you all the tools you need, all the support you need, and all the information that you need to feel fully equipped and prepared to teach. And, we come along side you in this journey to help you bring forth the best version of yourself.
Our program is designed to deepen yoga knowledge and practice, strengthen your spiritual connection, and equip those who want to teach Inspirational or Christ-Centered yoga classes.
Our program leads to several different certifications including a Certified Yoga Teacher (CYT) designation for those who want to study Inspirational yoga, or a Christ-Centered Yoga Teacher (CCYT) designation for those who are interested in Christ-Centered Yoga.
No matter what your spiritual path, there is a place for you in this training program.
What Makes Our Yoga Teacher Training Special
There are several things that make our program unique. No matter where you are in the world, you can take your theoretical and philosophy hours online. We have three licensed training centers you can conveniently choose from for your in-person Yoga Camps: Southwest Training Center in Tempe, Arizona; Midwest Training Center in Detroit, Michigan; or Canadian Training Center in Esterhazy, Saskatchewan, Canada.
You can choose either of our two training tracts: Inspirational or Christ-Centered. If you plan to teach in a studio, gym, fitness center, community center, or school, the Inspirational tract might be the right fit for you. If you are planning to teach yoga at a church or in a faith-based environment, then the Christ- Centered tract might interest you.
You will receive personalized mentoring throughout your training. Your mentor will guide you through the development of your yoga teacher practice, leadership skills, and personal growth. Having a mentor improves your learning and retention, maintains accountability, and provides ongoing support throughout your training experience.
Yoga Teacher Training Class Sizes
We keep our class sizes small. Because we provide individual mentoring during training, we limit our class size to 12-15 students. A small cohort helps to develop supportive relationships while ensuring that you get the most out of your training experience.
We are one of the few yoga schools offering a 200-hour Christ-Centered yoga teacher training that is recognized by the Yoga Alliance. We are a Registered Yoga School (RYS) with the Yoga Alliance.
